Peterbilt Motors Co. and Con-Tech Manufacturing have donated a 2024 Model 567-mounted Extreme Duty Mixer for the 2024 Concrete Industry Management Auction. The donation supports the event, which follows a long-standing tradition of holding the auction on the second day of the World of Concrete trade show.
Bidding for the donated mixer truck will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The auction schedule begins with smaller items and progresses to larger equipment, with the main bidding for the mixer truck set to start on January 24 at 1 p.m.
The Concrete Industry Management National Steering Committee is organizing the auction. The event aims to raise funds and resources for the Concrete Industry Management program, utilizing high-value construction equipment as the primary items for sale.
In addition to the auction donation, Peterbilt Motors Co. has been designated a 2026 Military Friendly Employer. This recognition comes from Military Friendly, an organization that evaluates companies on their policies and resources for recruiting and retaining veterans, active-duty service members, and military families.
The designation affirms the company's commitment to maintaining a work environment that supports the growth of military personnel and their families. The recognition highlights the manufacturer's ongoing efforts to support those who have served or are currently serving in the armed forces.
Peterbilt also recently launched the Model 389X, a heavy-duty truck that features styling inspired by the company's first 1939 model. The vehicle includes a polished hood crown, a louvered grille sheet, and exclusive side-hood chrome accents.
