As the Dallas Cowboys prepare for the beginning of the 2026 NFL season, they are fortunate to have a mostly healthy roster. However, two players are currently facing injury challenges.
Defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard is dealing with an abs/groin issue. Reports indicate he participated in rehabilitation work on September 1, suggesting he might be available for the first game of the season, though he may require more time for full recovery.
Guard Ajani Cornelius, who has shown potential during training activities, also missed practice on September 2 due to an injury. He was seen engaging in rehab work on September 1, which raises hopes for his readiness for Week 1, contingent on his recovery progress.
Additionally, linebacker Marist Liufau and cornerback Devin Moore have been placed on injured reserve. Liufau sustained a fractured forearm in the preseason finale, necessitating surgery, while Moore is contending with a hip injury, having previously encountered groin issues. Both players will be unavailable for at least the first four weeks of the season. Updates regarding Bullard and Cornelius are anticipated as the week unfolds.
