Chicken Salad Chick plans to establish a new location within Denton’s Rayzor Ranch Town Center. The establishment will occupy the commercial space currently held by Salata at 3420 North Interstate 35, according to a recent state filing.
The filing outlines that renovations valued at $275,000 are scheduled to commence in mid-September. Work on the site is projected to conclude by November before the new restaurant opens its doors.
Founded in Auburn, Alabama, in 2008, the chain specializes in chicken salad prepared from scratch. Menu options include sandwiches and individual scoops served with sides such as salads, chips, soups, and macaroni and cheese. The brand also offers dessert items like cookies, cake slices, and chocolate marshmallow bars.
The company has grown to operate in 25 states, with 45 Texas locations. Other area spots include Southlake, Frisco, and far north Fort Worth. Salata recently thanked patrons for their support on social media and directed customers to its remaining location at 1931 South Loop 288 in south Denton.
