Jeffrey Thomas Raines, a senior director at Charter/Spectrum and Denton resident, died Aug. 25; a memorial service is set for Sept. 26 in St. Peters.

Jeffrey Thomas "Jeff" Raines, 59, of Denton, Texas, passed away on August 25, 2026. Born on July 10, 1967, he was the son of Karen (Ward) Raines and the late Radford "Ben" Raines.

Mr. Raines held a degree from the University of Missouri and graduated from Crystal City High School. He served as a senior director of business planning for billing at Charter/Spectrum. He identified as Christian.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela (Morice) Raines, who resides in Denton. His children include Elizabeth (Richard) Ables of Lake St. Louis; Abigail Benz of St. Louis; Alyson (Shae) Martin of St. Charles; Analise Benz of O'Fallon; and Alayna Benz of Denton.

Additional family members include his brother, Skip (Stephanie) Raines of O'Fallon; his sister, Andrea (Gary) Griffith of Dardenne Prairie; a niece, Emily Griffith; and two nephews, Ben Raines and Ethan Griffith.

A memorial visitation will take place from 10 a.m. until the service begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 26. The event will be held at Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service, located at 4116 McClay Road in St. Peters. A lunch is scheduled to follow the ceremony.

Donations in memory of Mr. Raines may be directed to Shelter Friends, Inc., via shelterfriendsinc.org/, or to the American Kidney Foundation.
