UIL realignment is altering several area high school sports districts as programs begin preparing for the 2026-27 school year.
The changes include new district situations for Coppell and Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. Lewisville ISD’s Class 6A alignment also adds Frisco Wakeland to District 5-6A.
In softball, Flower Mound and Hebron met three times last season, including two District 5-6A games and a postseason matchup in the regional finals.
