The northbound flyover ramp connecting Interstate 35E to Interstate 35W in Denton was temporarily closed on Monday morning following a crash involving an 18-wheeler. The vehicle struck a barrier and came to rest in a position that blocked the ramp. Authorities reported that no injuries resulted from the incident.

In addition to the ramp closure, the northbound service road was shut down at the intersection with North Texas Boulevard. A Texas Department of Transportation camera captured the traffic conditions on the service road and the affected ramp during the morning hours.

A heavy-duty wrecker arrived at the scene by 9:37 a.m. to assist with the removal of the vehicle. A police spokesperson indicated that the ramp was expected to be cleared within one to two hours of that time. Drivers in the area were advised to anticipate delays until the obstruction was removed and traffic could resume normal flow.
