The Houston Texans have officially brought back tight end Louis Hansen. This marks his second stint with the team, having first joined in June before being waived in late July. His return does not require any adjustments to the current roster.
Hansen, an undrafted player from April, has a collegiate background that includes time at both the University of Michigan and the University of Connecticut. During his college career, he amassed 46 receptions totaling 463 yards and scored four touchdowns over 40 games.
The Texans currently have several tight ends on their roster, including Dalton Schultz, Foster Moreau, Marlin Klein, Cade Stover, Brevin Jordan, and Layne Pryor. Details about Hansen's specific role within the team have yet to be disclosed.
