The Dallas Cowboys finished their 2026 training camp on Wednesday at The Star, concluding practices that began on July 29. Fans were present for the last session, which followed a notable trip to Oxnard. The team is preparing to face the New Orleans Saints in their final preseason game before determining their 53-man roster for the upcoming regular season.
Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb made a significant impact during the final practice, connecting with quarterback Dak Prescott on multiple occasions. He caught a touchdown pass over cornerback Cobie Durant and also made an impressive one-handed catch for another score during red zone drills. Conversely, Durant struggled, giving up two touchdowns, including one to Lamb and another to George Pickens.
Nonetheless, he has established himself as a starting cornerback with DaRon Bland throughout the training camp.
Linebacker Jaishawn Barham also stood out, starting on defense and showcasing his aggressive play. He pressured Prescott during a simulated blitz, which would have led to a sack in a game. Barham has demonstrated consistent progress since the second preseason match against the Arizona Cardinals.
As the Cowboys gear up for their final preseason contest, they are hopeful regarding their offensive strength and overall readiness for the regular season.
