Ali Gaye, a defensive end for the Houston Texans, has sustained a serious knee injury during a joint practice with the Carolina Panthers. At 27 years old, Gaye is 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 265 pounds. He initially came to the Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2023 after playing with the Tennessee Titans. Over his career, he has tallied nine tackles and one sack. Gaye was expected to add depth to the defensive line, particularly behind established players Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter.
