A football player from Crandall High School in North Texas was airlifted to a hospital after sustaining an injury during practice on Wednesday, as reported by Crandall Independent School District (ISD).

The district announced on social media that a medical helicopter was dispatched to land near the baseball fields at Crandall High School to transport the injured student-athlete for further medical attention.

Crandall ISD expressed its concern, stating, "Our thoughts are with the student and the student's family," and requested that the community respect their privacy during this time.
