Three players from the Dallas-Fort Worth area have been named starters for the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game, headlined by TCU alumna Olivia Miles. The Minnesota Lynx point guard was the sole rookie selected among the ten opening-day players, a distinction that underscores her impact during her first professional season.

Miles has been instrumental in guiding Minnesota to the league’s top record at 15-4. Her performance has been particularly notable given the absence of team leader Napheesa Collier, who is sidelined with an injury. Through the current stretch, Miles is averaging 18.7 points, 5.7 assists, and 4.8 rebounds per game. Her collegiate career at TCU concluded with back-to-back Elite Eight appearances in her single season with the Horned Frogs.

Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers also secured a starting position, marking her second consecutive year earning this honor. The previous season’s Rookie of the Year has elevated her play in her sophomore campaign, leading the Wings to an 11-8 record that already exceeds their total wins from 2025. Bueckers is currently averaging 19.9 points, 5.9 assists, and 3.8 rebounds.

Wings forward Jessica Shepard completes the DFW trio in the frontcourt. Shepard, who was a major offseason acquisition for Dallas, is posting career-highs in points (14.3), rebounds (11.5), and assists (5.4). She joins Las Vegas Aces’ A’Ja Wilson, New York Liberty’s Breanna Stewart, Indiana Fever’s Aliyah Boston, Golden State Valkyries’ Gabby Williams, and Minnesota’s Natasha Howard as the six frontcourt starters.

The starting lineup was determined by a combination of fan, player, and media votes, with each group contributing 50% to the final tally. Bueckers and Miles emerged as the top two vote-getters among guards. Bueckers ranked first among fans and players, and second among media members. Miles placed fifth with fans, first with the media, and third with players.

Indiana Fever guards Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell round out the guard starters. Dallas Wings rookie Azzi Fudd, the No. 1 overall draft pick, finished tenth overall among guards. While Fudd was a fan favorite, ranking fourth in that category, she placed 15th among media voters and 28th among players.

The 2026 WNBA All-Star Game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on July 25 at the United Center in Chicago. Further details regarding broadcast coverage and specific game logistics have not yet been provided.
