Monster Mini Golf has opened a new location in Denton, bringing its indoor entertainment concept to the city over the July 4 holiday weekend. The facility officially began operations on Saturday, establishing a presence in one of the fastest-growing areas in North Texas.
The venue is situated at 2223 Colorado Blvd., positioned between a Sonic Drive-In and Tommy’s Express Car Wash. The building previously housed an outpatient clinic before being converted for the new amusement use.
The center features an 18-hole glow-in-the-dark miniature golf course. The design includes custom artwork inspired by local community elements, according to the franchise. Beyond the golf course, the location offers an arcade, mini bowling lanes, a laser maze, and a pixel game floor. Entertainment options also include an interactive DJ providing music, trivia, and live performances.
Poornima Natarajan, the owner of the Denton location, stated that the business sought to provide a unique experience for the area. She noted that Denton’s reputation as the Halloween Capital of Texas aligns with the brand’s spooky theme. Natarajan explained that local landmarks were incorporated into the artwork to create a sense of community connection.
Chris King, president of Monster Entertainment, commented on the expansion, noting that each location reflects the personality of the community it serves. He expressed excitement about introducing the brand to Denton through locally owned franchise operations.
