Construction for the Rosamond Town Center in Anna, Texas, officially commenced on June 30, 2026. This new development is a collaboration between Big V Property Group, The Seitz Group, Principal Asset Management®, and Citizens Bank, alongside local and regional officials.

Rosamond Town Center will complement the existing Rosamond Crossing and is part of a larger 750,000-square-foot retail complex in Collin County. The project is financed through a mix of developer equity, funding from Principal Asset Management®, and a construction loan from Citizens Bank.

Located at the southeast corner of Rosamond Parkway and Highway 75, the open-air center will span 355,826 square feet and feature major retailers such as Academy Sports + Outdoors, Aldi, Burlington, EOS Fitness, Hobby Lobby, HomeGoods, PetSmart, and T.J. Maxx, along with various outparcels and specialty shops.

Kenton McKeehan, President and Chief Investment Officer of Big V Property Group, expressed pride in contributing to the growth of Anna, emphasizing the project as a significant addition to the Metroplex. He noted that Anna is projected to experience population growth at a rate 13 times faster than the national average over the next decade, positioning it as a vital link between McKinney and Sherman.

Danielle Kaufman of Kaufman Consultants, representing The Seitz Group, highlighted the importance of partnerships in successful developments. Anna Mayor Pete Cain described the project as transformative for the city, projecting the creation of 750 jobs and an enhanced retail and tax base.

Texas Representative Keresa Richardson remarked on the significance of the development in the context of Texas's growth, linking it to the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. The development team received a Congressional Commendation from U.S. Rep. Keith Self, presented by District Director Michelle Bishop, who praised the collaboration between public leadership and private enterprise.

Big V Property Group operates several properties across Texas, including notable shopping centers in cities like San Antonio, Euless, Humble, Cypress, and Austin. The company is recognized as a leader in retail real estate and aims to continue fostering growth in the region.
