Denton County Brewing Co. is set to expand its operations with a second location in Harvest, a master-planned community situated between Argyle and Northlake. Seth Morgan, the brewery's owner, confirmed the plans on Wednesday, noting that the company was already seeking growth opportunities when the chance to partner with Hillwood, the developer of the Harvest community, presented itself.
The new venue will occupy a yellow farmhouse within the Harvest development. This building previously housed Farmhouse Coffee & Treasures. Morgan indicated that the establishment will likely be named Denton County Brewing Company at the Farmhouse. The opening is scheduled for late fall.
Morgan stated that the brewery has an existing relationship with Hillwood, having participated in neighborhood events and created a specific brew for the Landmark development. He described Hillwood as being mindful of its role in the Denton area and its alignment with the brewery's values.
The menu at the new location will include local craft beer, a wider selection of wine, and nonalcoholic options. In the mornings, the space will function as a coffee shop. During the day, it will offer grab-and-go lunch items, while the evening menu will feature artisanal pizza.
Morgan explained that serving coffee and pizza has been a long-standing goal for the business since its founding in 2017 at 200 E. McKinney St. in downtown Denton.
