Texas A&M edge rusher Anto Saka has been included in The Athletic's 2026 "Freaks List," an annual compilation of exceptional college football athletes, as announced by the school on Monday. Bruce Feldman, who compiles the list, noted that Saka is considered "the freakiest of a very gifted D-line room."
Saka stands at 6-foot-4 and weighs 255 pounds, wearing jersey number 14. He is a graduate student from Baltimore, having transferred to College Station from Northwestern. He is part of a defensive line group that also includes Sam M'Pemba, a redshirt junior from Georgia, who measures 6-3 and 257 pounds.
The Freaks List highlights remarkable athletic testing numbers in college football based on reports from strength coaches and programs, focusing on raw physical ability rather than on-field performance. Texas A&M did not disclose Saka's specific ranking on the list.
The announcement comes as the Aggies are in the midst of Fall Camp, with their season opener scheduled for September 5 at Kyle Field.
